Elise, disguised as a Gallah named "Missy", uses a trained rakhtor (giant avian flying mount) to traverse the city of Babel, on a special mission for the Caroban mages. On the way, she witnesses a lone Eeee being attacked by members of a gang, and she intervenes, fighting off the gang, though getting little by way of thanks from the one she saved.
