Roho, at the palace of the High Prince, meets with Grand Vizier Thath. Thath enlists Roho's help to accompany Mage Scarlet to a ritual to be held at Master Zahirinee's residence. The ritual is to restore the magically still pool that Master Zahirinee used to predict the future, until Wynona disturbed it with a spell. Thath is concerned that Mage Scarlet may not be in as good of health as Baal-Yudaz and Baal-Zimon claim she is, and wants Roho there (as an unbiased party) to keep an eye on things. Roho agrees.
