Roho is taking a break in Freedom Park, when Mircus comes, concerned about strange symptoms he's been having after his run-in with the Babelite Plaguebringers on Candlemass. Roho takes him inside and diagnoses it as just a side-effect of stress and anxiety. Jynx comes in, suffering from a cold, and causing a minor disaster, at last running off as a large Tigress-Khatta finds him. Finally, Roho has a visitor – a representative of High Prince Boghaz who bears word that Roho is no longer banished from the Ashdod Territories, but is still considered controversial. Boghaz' gratitude is shown secretly by the donation of some equipment for the clinic.
