WARNING: Violence and gross stuff.

On Paradys, Zoltan returns from the Tower to survey the aftermath of the catastrophe that occurred there, and then plans with Roho to set out against the cannibal stronghold in the airship graveyard, to stop a ritual taking place there … and to rescue Jezebel. Boghaz has the Freedom's Dream unmoored, while Wynona conjures up a storm to serve as cover for the assault. At the airship, the Eeee and half-Vartans attack by air, and the Savanite slaves attack once the ship lands, or after being carried down by the half-Vartan fliers. Zoltan finds the ritual taking place, and rushes belowdecks to seek out Amenlichtli's sarcophagus … and finds Amenlichtli herself. In a face-off, it becomes apparent that Roho is undetected by the undead queen, and he manages to provide a distraction while Zoltan escapes with Jezebel. In the aftermath of the battle, the black vessel of the jaguars is consumed by flame … as are presumably the remainder of the jaguars. Back on the ship, Roho tends to many wounds, while Zoltan converses with a repentant Jezebel.
