[This segment takes place during the same time as part of the log "Abaddon Hope, All Ye Who Enter Here", while Zoltan and Wynona are separated from Kensington by the magical portal.]

Wynona and Zoltan arrive on Abaddon, in a crystal chamber. It appears there is no way back. They can dimly see Kensington through the portal, and they try to find a way to get a message to Kensington. Zoltan goes around outside to the place there the view on the other side of the portal seemed to be showing, and manages to get Kensington's attention. They manage to get Kensington to try reaching through the portal to grab Wynona … but Kensington disappears. …
