Chloe leads Layth and Aisha to the Temple of Morpheus, where Layth hopes to learn more about the Amazonian's relaxation techniques. Along the way, they encounter Tasha, fresh from her odd vision at the Temple of Abaddon and seeming a bit distracted (and a little irritable from the forced menstrual cycle she's undergoing).

The group goes on to the Temple of Morpheus, which is built like a clan villa with a large central garden area. An acolyte greets them and discusses what their needs might be, suggesting some of the available therapies. The group decides to try a sensory-deprivation therapy.

Each person is immobilized in bandages, blindfolded and given earplugs before being floated in a dense pool of mineral water. During the session, Layth and Tasha both relive comforting memories of their early childhoods, and come out with renewed interests in their mothers: Tasha decides to contact her mother as soon as she can to remind her that she loves her, and Layth gets an urge to visit the mountains where he was born and bring back better memories of them than he has now.

While drying off, Tasha gets a bit jealous of he attention Layth shows Aisha, and ends up mussing Chloe's fur while she tries to dry the doe. The vartan mellows a bit as Layth helps her out before they all go to explore the Temple further.
