Envoy (in her "Child" aspect) and Elise find themselves once more in Inala's dream realm, as they board a "tram" and go on a wild roller coaster ride across the park. They arrive at the end, and then Envoy uses her tickets to get rides on the Flying Drokars – one for Elise, and one for herself. Elise's mount is called Secrets, and Envoy's is Mystery, and Mystery seems far more enthusiastic. The handler mournfully tells Envoy and Elise (or is he speaking to the flying drokars?), "Only one of you will reach Inala". They take flight on the winged mounts, but Envoy's mount nips viciously at Secrets, and Secrets begins to fall behind and even descend. Envoy abandons her mount to try to rejoin Elise, but her previously friendly mount suddenly turns vicious, swooping after Envoy as if to attack her…
