Skiree and Rory end up at the estate of Titus while "monster hunting". After managing to sneak in they encounter Kaela tending the garden and give her a hand. The guard at the gate catches the two little mages and instructs Kaela to take them back to the College Esoterica where they belong. As they reach the college and the two new students get settled in, Kaela encounters Envoy… who has managed to procure a life mage to help Kaela's ailing mother. Kaela leads the cervani mage to her house and to her mother, and the doe begins her work. Abana is healed, but not completely…
