At Alysin's Auction House, the theatre has metamorphosed again, this time to house a party thrown by Ophelia in honor of Francisco's new citizenship in Rephidim. Also present are Envoy, the foppish Fox (who announces Francisco's arrival), a red-eyed Eeee by the name of Count Karstein, a collie waitress named Siesal, Technopriest Buran, and the bard Natilie. Count Karstein takes an interest in Francisco, asking him questions about his beliefs, while Natilie chokes on a piece of bread, and is assisted by Buran.
