Elise finds herself on the Vengeful Spirit, the ship that dropped the "boomer" on Babel, in a dream reinactment of that fateful night. She argues with Captain Rockmore, accusing him of being a traitor, but when Eeee warriors attack the ship, she helps defend it. High Princess Saraizadze arrives, seeking to capture and execute Rockmore for the deaths of about 80,000 Babelites, but Elise insists that Saraizadze doesn't have the right to do so, but rather that Rockmore must be tried and punished by Rephidim. Envoy arrives, joining the argument, while Lochinvar mostly watches. During the argument, Rockmore is pinned down, and Cyprian proposes his own punishment: making Rockmore relive the death experiences of those 80,000 victims. Elise agrees to this, and joins Cyprian in imposing this upon Rockmore. After it is finished, the arguments continue for a bit, until Rephath herself shows up, impatient, and ends the dream, admonishing everyone to "GO HOME!"
