In the Temple Middle Infirmary, Baddock has been treated for his wounds sustained in his battle with the imps in Bosch, and examined for any possible infections or magical influences. While he is awaiting the final okay to leave, he is visited by Sesus – an over-sensitive and easily irritated Jupani Investigator, there to ask Baddock a few questions about the incident with the imps, and possible sabotage of the wards meant to hold them at bay. Envoy shows up briefly to give Baddock some medicine, and once a priest gives Baddock the okay to leave, Sesus abruptly passes out, while Baddock just shrugs, takes it all in stride, and makes his way out.
