Arkold, Tulani and Raneah travel to Abu Dhabi on the Spring's Bounty. There, Tulani gets her pay, and heads to the streets of the city in search of this mysterious "Punja." Arkold leads her to a run-down hotel in a bad part of town, known as the Purple Rose. There, they get a couple of rooms (by the hour), and drop off Raneah. They head into a spice den on the premises, where Arkold tries to pretend to be a Gigi (which serves to mostly confuse those he speaks to). At the mention of "Punja," a Naga customer responds, and in exchange for some "Blue Vine of Transcendence," he agrees to tell Arkold and Tulani how to find Punja the trader of curios and antiquities.
