Aaron, the Lapi apothecary from Rephidim, travels to Abu Dhabi, where he finds a curio shop run by an old Khatta proprietor named Punja. Aaron trades the Sylvanian Heresy – a tome speaking of the secrets of Necropolis – in exchange for an apparently ancient helmet of unknown manufacture, supposedly older than the Nagai Empire. He also purchases a curious book in an unknown language, and gets a jar of "magic powder" for free.
