Continuing their journey in the dream realm of Inala, Elise and Envoy find themselves in danger, as Elise's flying Drokar – Secrets – is spiraling downward, and Envoy's flying Drokar – Mystery – appears to be turning to attack her. Envoy drops out of the way, and it's soon evident that Mystery was instead going to attack Elise and Secrets. They collide and tumble through the air, Elise making a severe wound in Mystery's side with her sword. At last, Elise manages to clamber onto the back of Mystery, and Envoy hitches a ride on Secrets. It seems for a moment as if Elise has actually gotten control of Mystery, but the flying drokar is obviously dying. Envoy sees the realm of Inala up ahead, and makes a fateful decision to press on when Elise's flying drokar dies and plummets – taking the lady poodle with her to the ground below.
