Aisha leads everyone to the shop of Sylvester Al-Hasbeen, a somewhat shady merchant who supplies others with raw materials acquired by uncertain means. After a bit of 'bribery' to the boy minding the shop, they are brought to the trader himself, who's elation over a big contract with the Emir comes crashing down when Calli explains that she is the rightful owner of the Angor wool that Al-Hasbeen has just sold.
Things become tense as two tigers arrive to back up Al-Hasbeen, but Layth keeps people calm. Aisha reads over the contract, and informs Calligenia that even though the wool is all here, she can't take it without being labelled a criminal. Worse yet, the contract doesn't mention immediate payment, so even just taking what Al-Hasbeen sold it for is out of the question. With all of the dead-ends getting to her, Calli sends everyone out so she can talk with Al-Hasbeen alone.
Aisha seems oblivious to Calligenia's violent streak, thinking everyone is just joking when they talk about her killing people, and still doesn't seem to accept the reality when it's pointed out to her. Calli and Al-Hasbeen rejoin them, saying they have come to an agreement but would like Aaron's brother, a master trader himself, to look it over first.
