Elise talks with Katherine, finding out that she had not quite understood Katherine's intent when she expelled her own friends from the de Bellefueille house – She has no particular love for the Eeee, and knows that the truth about "Mrs." Krodos is little better than the rumors going about, but she sent them out due to her sense of honor and obligation … and she's none too happy with Elise for putting her in that position.

Elise meets with her guests – the Eeee mother and her son – and shares with them that different arrangements may have to be made. When she goes into greater particulars, she meets with Leisa alone to explain the gravity of the situation.
