The Champion of Shadows leads a contingent of Knights Templar into the sewers beneath Rephidim, avoiding traps and sentries as he seeks out a secret entrance into the Jade Palace, also known as "Faraon's Dome" – base of operations of the evil lord of Darkside, Faraon "the Friend". The Champion fights off some of the defenders, and discovers that Faraon is not present … and, what's more, it appears that some "mercenaries" have been planted by Faraon to kill civilians at the Jade Palace, so that the blame may be laid upon Rephidim. However, the Champion's forces succeed in rescuing most of the civilians staying at the luxury resort, and thus thwarting Faraon's murderous plan.
