Chiaroscuro releases poision into the water, in an attmept to kill off squids and clear a path, but the party has to retreat from the airlock back inside. There, Dalagask snaps, and Roho is forced to sedate him, and the party decides to try one of Envoy's earlier suggestions- return squid corpses found in a lab to the squids. After transporting the corpses to the wetlock… and a tense moment in the wetlock where Envoy almost drowns… they release the bodies into the water. A 'leader' squid enters the wetlock and gives a black pearl to the party in apparent gratitude. Returning to the airlock, the party finds the squids have departed, leaving the party free to board the ship with the weapons, and depart safely from Little Rephidim West.
