In the First Ones site in the Vykarin Wastes, Bassai and Fetiss work on ways to dissolve the green foam obstructing observation of the chamber they were in previously. Meanwhile, Fenter goes running off into some of the other corridors, and finds a strange artifact that looks like a crystal block with bits of stone around it … and a very convenient handle
