Envoy, taken to the Caroban Watch Headquarters, insists that she's the Avatar of Inala. Dean Ssrithiri wishes to enact a ritual of the Sphere of Dream to study Envoy, but Mage Cyprian protests. Dean Ssrithiri is allowed to continue, but Cyprian and Elise slip off, where they take part in another ritual to thwart Ssrithiri's plans. The Dean is furious at the interference, and storms over with members of the Caroban Watch, but they find no cause to arrest Cyprian.
