Vielanika, Envoy and Zoltan leave the Savan Queen, and head to a former Savanite village which is now serving as "Base Camp" for the expedition. Zoltan has an unpleasant run-in with one of the smaller examples of the local fauna. Zoltan, Envoy and Vielanika head out to find Inquisitrix Esther, who has made a significant discovery a distance from camp. After studying the strange "shrine" and making some further discoveries, while heading back, Esther repays Vielanika the gold coin for Envoy's processing
