Jarik finds Zapan, a blind gypsy wolf, searching for the Vile Phial. Zapan is supposed to perform on the place's opening night, a position of honor. Unfortunately, Azure hasn't had much chance to advertise, and the place is empty when Jarik and Zapan arrive. Azure resolves to convince Zapan that he's playing to a packed house, with the help of Jarik, Armani, Speck and Burke. Much insanity ensues, with Azure resolving to help Jarik find his missing sword in the quietude that follows.
