After returning from the Gloved Fist, Layth and Tasha join the others and the Lightfoots for a big breakfast, then clean up and prepare to depart for Olympia. Layth visits Zafir, and then meets up with Aisha again and joins the rest of the party on the Rake.

Captain Eyeshine isn't thrilled that Tasha has brought along a tiger "servant" for the first part of the trip, but agrees to let Shimar come along in exchange for hanging the new portrait of Tasha up in his cabin.

People settle in, and the airship launches with Tasha driving the pteras. Layth checks in on the does in their cabin below deck, and then tries to find Aaron. He does so back up on the main deck, and learns that the two bucks will be staying in the captain's cabin, which has hammocks.

Layth returns to the does, and keeps Aisha warm until dinner.
