Envoy is questioned and examined to determine whether she is, in fact, possessed by a spirit. It is determined that she is, and a council of mages is called together to investigate this phenomenon and to determine what to do about it. Elise is questioned about her observations of Envoy's character, and, in a surprise development, levels accusations against some of the mages present in the inquiry.
