On board the Sunset Hoof, en route to Half Valley, Anisa ventures out of her cabin, to find Wanda waiting with a concoction of nik-nik fruit to aid Anisa's airsick stomach. They go above-decks for breakfast, where Wanda impresses Anisa with her powers of observation, predicting the arrival of a Naga merchant and a young Khattan couple. Anisa is about to leave, when she is invited over by the Khattas, one of whom had beaned her on the head with a bolt of zolk previously. They are apologetic for the accident, and offer reparations in the form of fixing up a zolk dress for the rabbit. She, of course, is positively delighted at the prospect.
