Jaundice and Fenter return to Haskala with the Squeep in hand. After presenting their prize, the cat asks Jaundice to relay the details of what happened during the whole search. He reluctantly does, aided by the ocassional remark from Fenter. After the coyote tells the tale, Haskala offers some advice to her young pupil, and also instructs him to spent a half hour every day in the Rephidim Bazaar… doing absolutely nothing. The confused little coyote leaves, and Haskala focuses her attention on Fenter. She also advises him, and tells her of her high hopes for her young student.
