Alptraum arranges for the dinner meeting at a local, and reasonable, restaurant. Alptraum then goes to collect Hexen and Kizzy for their night of … fun. He first encounters Nyneve and negotiates a price for an earring Alptraum can use later to torment Hexen. Then after a bit of byplay, Alptraum goes to gather fox and bat.

Alptraum finds Hexen being grumpy as usual for having to eat a melon instead of feeling one. He also complains about being the girl of the relationship to which Alptraum points out he needs to be more active if he wants that to change. After some small talk, the group heads up to the castle. Hexen goes to get some real meat and Kizzy goes with Alptraum to Mave's room.

Alptraum reshapes Kizzy into a close 'clone' of Mave and while she then explores herself, Alptraum goes and grabs Hexen. The poor fox can barely talk when two Mave-Like bats greet him and drag him inside. Alas, poor Alptraum is left out in the commons area … so he summons up Kaira and has a chat! Nothing of significance is covered, really. Alptraum just felt left out of the fun …
