Alptraum and Snow locate the afflicted woman. After a bit of a roadside adventure involving a couple bandits that Snow takes care of by inducing lust in the lager one, they manage to reach the river.

The river is COLD! Alptraum complains a lot along the way, but they do they manage to take her to the blessed spring. As Snow deals with the woman, Alptraum explores the old temple a bit deeper.

It turns out not all is safe and peaceful in this temple, for the Guardian, an ancient dryad, confronts Alptraum in a dragon's tomb…
