The Champion of Shadows, disguised and going by the name of "Elijah", is at the docks with Inri, about to board the Sunchaser, when he spots a young "dock worker" with a suspicious resemblance to Pouncer. He offers "Watches-Quietly" a job as his "porter" for the trip, if she desires, and the "Savanite" accepts. Elijah and Inri find their room, and Elijah notices that Envoy is also on board, and considers meeting with her for a meal.
