Leeta waits in the offices of the Audit, again trying to meet her sister Zorah. This time she is successful, and passes on the information Moffat collected on Jena Rika, Zorah's owner. Leeta also tells her sister about the assassination, which causes her to faint, and explains how this means she will be going away. Rapidly she details all the events that have been happening to her, and implores her sister to give Jezebel a chance. Zorah is a little more worldly than Leeta, comforts her over the coat, dismisses the Savanite Empire but agrees a misguided rebellion could cause problems, and promises to think a little more about Third-Eye.
