While the Clan Council argues, Amy and Gunther wait in the dining room. If Gunther ends up being exiled, Amy promises him a place in her own Clan. It turns out to be unnecessary though, as Zahn comes and says the vote was over with quickly, with only Deirdra voting to kick out Gunther.

Zahn then prepares to go on night watch at the dam, and Amy starts to panic, thinking Deirdra might try to exact revenge on him for being slighted. Zahn agrees to let Amelia guard the central control room.
