Skye and Mandara, on an errand for Lakshmi to do more research about the Whispa, travel to Nagai City, where they visit the taxidermy shop of Master Dorshall. There, Skye is a bit uncomfortable with things that seem not quite right – such as the state of the shop being a bit damp and moldy, as opposed to being dry and sterile. Mandara is more uncomfortable with the presence of a stuffed Savanite in a corner, which she repeatedly tries to inspect, despite the orders of Skye, and causing Master Dorshall to become more than a bit nervous that she might break something. Skye gets to touch what he is told is a stuffed whispa, and learns something of its capture and its brief life in captivity.
