Having hid it earlier, Tasha finally releases some of her pent up anxiety, anger and guilt as she stands alone in the Titan bay. Proving her emotional growth, she pushes past her mood to focus on what she came for: to explore the records within the Melchior and attempt to find a Progenitor Cult connection. Melchior's avatar is immediately aware of her emotional state, warning her against anything other than simulations and offering a mode called 'cerebral virtualization' to eliminate her emotions temporarily. Tasha agrees, and experiences a state of pure thought without body; no emotions hinder her now accelerated thinking as she scans through Melchior's files. In time she discovers a hidden file, and is prompted for the Origin Marker, confirming her suspicions. As she does not have the marker to give, the simulation terminates. After a brief report to the Captain and several PersoComs, Tasha disembarks to go check on Blammo.
Blammo proves to be more or less fine, sipping as Dr. Caravelli's PersoCom analyzes him. Tasha expresses her gladness that Blammo is okay, and is soon engaged in a conversation about the Progenitors with the two men. Blammo reveals his ship can actually leave Sifran Space, reaching a point called 'Caltrop Station,' even beyond. Tasha is impressed and inspired, but rather than stay too long and ruin Blammo's rest, soon excuses herself.
