Arkold visits Life Mage Viridian on Caroban, and consults him about having some work done on Raneah's face. Viridian is quite interested, seeing as Raneah is a Siren, but he reveals that the costs would be quite high. Envoy shows up as well, to show off some Ashtorean specimens she brought back with her from the water world, and tries to make some helpful suggestions to bring the cost down. Raneah is worried that Arkold is going to spend all his money on repairing her face, and reveals that he was not actually the one responsible for ruining her face – It is just that when he seemed to think that was the case, she did not argue with him, for fear of disagreeing with her "master". Arkold indicates that he still wishes to help Raneah anyway.
