Kia opens up her shop, Kia's Renewal, for the day, in the Bazaar. The fop-fox drops by, this time apparently employed as a milk-man, and tries to sing a song for Kia, but she shoos him away from the store, as customers arrive. Her new customer is a noble poodle with a music box that makes strange squeaking noises whenever she plays it. Kia investigates the music box, interrupted again as the fop fox sings the rest of his song by way of the window. She figures out that there's a little critter stuck inside the box, and takes the box off to work on it privately, freeing a vermite from the musicbox. She then receives a visit from Fenter, who brings with him a bunch of strange junk from the old College Esoterica grounds.
