Just another day at Slip 18 on the Rephedim docks, where groups of underpaid, undereducated dockworkers labor to load and unload cargo from ships always arriving or departing. But something's up… some 'early' breaks lead a cargo handler cross-fox Keiltyn named Lars to leave his usual dice game with the other workers to to investigate on his own. And when he finds a smuggling and theft operation in progress within the warehouse, somehow tips off the Vartan Silver Lance to arrive and apprehend everyone. And it's after this that it's seen that Lars really isn't who he seemed to be. Not an undereducated dockworker, not even named Lars… instead, a rather capable Temple investigator named Kani Agochara, with a talent for blending into just about any group.
