Rory is sent out to a mountainside by Koshiro in order to collect some leaves for an experiment. While he's there, he engages in a discussion with Silhouette, mentioning his ambitions to become a good enough mage to be able to make her "real". She insists that she's real enough, while Rory clarifies that his intention is to make her solid, like he is. Silhouette expresses reservations about this, but Rory assures her that things would be fine, and he'd like her just the same, no matter what she's like.
