Returning back to town along the surface road, the troupe encounters the 'Welcome to Stonebarrow' sign and find that someone has tacked on a second one below it reading 'You must be this tall to enter' as a joke. After some work, they get half of it removed, and Gunther erases the lettering on the remainder and writes in 'No Hordes' instead.
Back at the Weavers, they investigate the storeroom that was broken into and messed up a few nights before. Olivia figures that the only thing missing is a bolt of blue fabric she'd worked on the night of the intrusion, just before her strange dream and sleepwalking incident. Gunther finds a loose floorboard, revealing disturbed earth.
Next, they bring the fibers found in the charred box to one of the journeymen, Celestine Weaver, who identifies them as coming from a funeral shroud and even guessing the age to be about fifteen years. There is also some mention of the various betting pools run by Emmett, and the costumes that Liliana has ordered for her dancers including one that matches Amelia's measurements.
