Feeling guilty about not spending more time recently with her mentor, Amelia seeks out Elsa Kettenrad. She finds the older Kadie in Stephan's old cabin, packing up some of the boy's devices. Once she's sure she's not intruding, Amy sits down to chat with Elsa.

With Erik's dinner party coming up, Amy explains her worries to Elsa, who tells her about how Andre (Zahn's father) and she got together. She gives the younger Kadie some advice on how to get men to do what she wants them too, as well.

Later, Amy takes dinner to Zahn in his workshop, and also talks about the dinner a bit, and how the subject of airships may come up and that Zahn shouldn't go crazy about it. Gunther pops in as well on the pretense of needing some materials, which leads to his telling them about the otter-suit. Zahn laughs it off, while Amy gives it serious consideration and asks Gunther what he'll need for it.
