A large tent has been set up, blocking one of the Bazaar squares, and heavily guarded. Inside Fire Mage Kelsey is making her preparations for the days events, while the Countess Ophelia watches and waits for Francisco's arrive. Once the Kitsune appears, the Jupani-esque poodle explains exactly what will happen, and assures Francisco that despite the problems he caused with her boyfriend, she won't really blow him up.
Finally ready, Kelsey ignites the tent and it vanishes in a flash. Wearing a dress composed of simulated and real flames, the poodle starts pitching the crowd about what she is about to do. Inquisitrix Vindicta arrives, and starts arguing with the Fire Mage. Countess Ophelia puts a stop to this before Kelsey's concentration has slipped so far that her spells become dangerous. Directed back to the task, the Jupani-esque poodle tells the kitsune to say his farewells, and then shouts for the crowd to behold her wrath. She flings a huge fireball at the platform of explosives, Francisco jumps down as directed, and everything detonates in a blinding flash.
