Determined to find some answers while her friends worked on a distraction, Lilac ventures to find Sir Greyswand and takes him aside as the first part of her plan. While walking, the bardess reveals some of what she knows about Dame Riesling's death and the cause behind it all. Fearing she won't be fully believed, Lilac takes Sir Greyswand to the chapel and shows him her evidence: the remains of his friend, Dame Riesling. The ghost of the deceased Korv confirms the painful truth the bardess reveals. Though sad, the information proves enough to move the cursed knight to agree to help the young human. And so, the Midnight Murder rallies to the heroes' cause against their malefactor.
