After putting up with one too many jibes about her lisp, Miranda decides to do something about her broken tooth. To this end she heads to the dam, figuring the Wingnuts fix everything else, so why not a tooth?

The Lapi doesn't find anyone out and about, and the workshops are shut down as well, leaving everything eerily quiet. She's surprised by Gunther – almost – and finds out all of the Wingnuts are in a big meeting to plan out the season's projects. Gunther is there too… or at least, his decoy is there. Hearing her problem, the Kadie takes her on a ride in the 'sidavater' to the storerooom of failed machines to try and see if her tooth fragment is still stuck in part of Zahn's last airship.

After a good bit of search, they find the fragment and Gunther digs it out with his new knife. He then suggests that Igor may know how to reattach it.

Miranda isn't sure about meeting Igor, so brings Gunther along to Dontgointhe Castle. There, Igor takes them to 'the bone lab' in the basement, where the patchwork Skreek seems to have a collection of baby teeth from almost everyone in town! This bug Gunther, of course, but Igor explains that the teeth are useful for making 'bone-glue', which he then proceeds to create.

Some formula is applied to Miranda's remaining tooth to dissolve the out layer of enamel, and then the fragment is glued into place and the tooth resealed with a fresh coat of the ground-up baby-tooth material, so that it looks whole again.

For payment, Miranda agrees to come and play music with Igor sometimes, and agrees to let him salvage her body parts to help others once she dies.
