Within the digital realm, Calligenia and Aisha find themselves alone on a darkened street, somewhere in Abu Dabi. Soon, they come across a sobbing woman, learning that her child was taken by the father to be sold to pay his drug habits, and that Layth has gone to intervene. The two brave the seedier part of town to find him, only to discover he's already in a brawl. Thankfully, the patrons are too addled to put up much of a fight; Layth is able to wrest the child back and chastises the father for his weakness before returning to the others. Upon returning to the sobbing mother, they find she is not a Khattan, but the young Silent-One ghost, Fallen-Star. Together, they discuss the future and what they've learned of each other.
