Coming upon the devestated town of Crossroads, the group turns south towards Ravenia's lands. As they go, they encounter armed patrols fitted with mismatched armor (including complete Gallisian uniforms with the ranks removed) and the same dull expressions as Ravenia's quite poodle servant, Grey.
They get escorted to the castle, which was left warped and partly melted from the Necromancer Wars. Despite his protests, everyone insists on Alptraum eating with the rest of them. They are greeted by Lilith, Ravenia's Eeee 'sister', who seems friendly and prefers Babelite style clothing to Sylvanian.
While waiting in the dining hall, it becomes clear that Lilith is a vampire Eeee when she's served a chalice of blood, and Alptraum gives in and asks for the same while the others have wine, thus finally revealing to Tulani that he is a vampire himself. The Sphynx doesn't seem to be put off by it though.
Ravenia changes into an outfit similar to Lilith's, and then the group meets the lord of the castle himself, Vorgulremik the Steel Dragon. Arkold is shocked, and somewhat provocative towards the dragon for the rest of the evening. Vorgulremik seems uncertain or suspicous about Tulani for some reason as well.
As he'd done earlier with Lilith, Alptraum asks to try the bladeless dagger on the dragon, but the chilling effect is so severe when Vorgulremik reaches for it that the table starts to freeze.
Things become a bit tense, as the dragon tries to convince them all that he isn't the bad-guy they should be fighting (although he does admit to doing things that others generally consider to be 'evil') and gets them to agree that the mysterious sorcerer is the more important threat to fight together.
