The area appears to have changed considerably, once red and black sections displaying green. To further help their inquiry, the team activates a Synth Layth names Artemis, which explains the situation more clearly. As the discussion continues, the Synth becomes alarmed at the mention of a Titanian being on board, evading why until Gabriel orders her to answer. As it turns out, the Khattans feared a Vartan-Titanian alliance, because Khatta crafted Vartan technology could reveal a truth the Khattans had been concealing: that Vartans and Titanians were created by the same progenitor race!
