Back at Snowshoe's Tavern, Anisa deals with problems in her family, as it faces several issues. Tyson seems to be in some sort of trouble, Quinn and Bessy seem to be foisting their child onto Beatrice (Anisa's mother), and Anisa's father is talking about retiring. Anisa catches Tyson slipping off at night, and finds evidence that he's been in a fight, but she opts not to follow him, reasoning that he can take care of himself … even if she doesn't truly believe it.
