Xander and Kin head out into the Savan on the hunt for the downed airship. However, they are expectedly 'ambushed' by a tribe of savanites … the Burning Sands. Kin, instead of fighting, laid down her weapons and tried to speak with them; something unheard of for most reptilian species. Her risk returned a reward … the savanites accept them as friends!
