Needing measurements of Akwavi finger- and toe webbing, Gunther goes to the Sniffler's water-vegetable stand. Midge is there, and allows him to take his measurements because… well, because there's nothing else going on at the time.
The otter tries to explain how Akwavi swim once Gunther says he's trying to mimic them but hasn't ever really observed how they swim. Since Midge is a bubble-headed blond, this leads to some mutual confusion.
While discussing what is work and what is fun, Midge brings up the notion of the 'Right Fish' which is supposed to be fun to catch, because it symbolizes an otter the person is trying to impress. Catching it is also symbolic of catching the otter it represents.
Armed with this new knowledge, Gunther goes to find out more about fish and how they're caught, which leads him to Emmett. The otter wrangles out the truth from the Kadie: Gunther wants to find the Right Fish for Nene and Bebe.
