Envoy decides Icarus is ready to learn about his origins, so brings him to the lab where he was created and explains the process a bit. Icarus seems to take it well, and Envoy brings him to the shrine next, to see 10 (Calypso), 11 (Theseus) and Elsa Daedalus, who Icarus vaguely recognizes.

Next, Icarus is shown the suspension tubes containing the failed experiments 1 through 9. He decides they should be part of the shrine as well, and promises to come up with the names for them.

At breakfast, they find that Violette the Chaos Mage (in training) has come to ask about the big disturbance when Envoy fought with Experiment 14, and is assured that it was not magical in nature. Violette also asks Icarus out on a movie date, and Envoy sees an article in the newspaper that makes her want to visit the city again as well.
