Aski Medes writes a closing note for his file on Sir Jarik Fireclaw. The note summarizes his knowledge of that exile, and adds that sometimes people vanish from Sinai just as mysteriously as they arrive. Aski speculates that Jarik's departure is simply the first of many; events occuring as he writes support this theory, as others are found to be missing by the people close to them. Wolfsinger, Tarin, Zephyr and Wyn vanish without a trace, and are remembered in a variety of ways. Aski then closes the file, as they are, simply, gone
